Since opening Bistro Molines in 2007, Robert Molines has been inducted into the JK Walker Culinary Hall of Fame alongside other Australian legendary chefs, as well as Bistro Molines receiving a Chefs Hat award in October 2009. Robert and Sally Molines have created their unique combination of culinary excellence and a relaxed ambience with the usual slick service that they are best known for.
In addition to Bistro Molines, Robert and Sally opened Briar Grillade at Briar Ridge Vineyard in 2008. The house speciality is the outdoor BBQ grill and the delicious selection of seasonal seafood, poultry, game, beef and vegetarian options. Share plates start at $14 to $22 with great coffee, sweet things, Briar Ridge wine by the glass or bottle, beer and soft drinks.

Nestled in the quaint surroundings of the Briar Ridge Vineyard, Briar Grillade offers guests a different kind of "magical Mount View" experience. Robert Molines has introduced a new and exciting food and wine concept involving tasting plates and a classic grill for gourmet barbeques, all perfectly matched with the outstanding Briar Ridge wines. The "cook and chef" team will be daily preparing providore style foods such as: homemade chutneys, jams, pastries, soups, terrines, pates and breads, along with a selection of gourmet meats and local seafood to the barbeque. Morning and afternoon tea will also be on offer with a beautiful selection of sweet treats and the best espresso coffee and teas available.
